BESPOKE TRAINING

We are able to develop courses to a specific standard and structure needed to build a regulated qualification.  However, most are created more informally with either our customers giving us a brief, or we’ll provide a bullet point list of content to ensure we are providing exactly what’s required.

Example: For manual handling

  • What is manual handling

  • Legislation and best practice

  • Function of the human spine and types of injury

  • Risk Assessment incl  Dynamic Assessment and strategies to avoid manual handling or reduce risk

  • Task, Induvial, Load , Environment approach

  • Manual handling techniques and practical demonstration

  • Animate and inanimate objects, group lifts, pushing and puling

  • Records and reviews of manual handling assessments

Certification can be “certificates of attendance” , “CPD” , “certificate of assessed competence”. Assessments can take the form of written and/or practical assessment as required.

REGULATED TRAINING

The content and structure of regulated training is not flexible, so we find that other than First Aid Training, as much as 95% of our training is unregulated, bespoke or awareness training.
